Podchat does not require an account and does not collect any personally identifying information about you.

What we collect

We collect audio from the microphone only when you explicitly start an interactive session. The app sends our backend the recorded audio, the episode you're listening to, and the current timestamp. When the session ends, the microphone turns off and all collection stops.

How we use it

Our collected data is processed by third-party AI services on our behalf — for transcription, response generation, and speech synthesis — and is not used for advertising or to train third-party models.

Retention

Your voice recording is discarded after the reply is generated. We do not retain any data around your interactive sessions.

Children

Podchat is not directed to children under 13.
